Crunch Berry Krispies

Mr. David B. showed me some colorful cereal treats earlier this afternoon, and of course I have to make my own! Er, for the kids. Yeah, that’s it…the kids.

Crunch Berry Krispies.

This is your standard Krispies directions. If you’ve never made them before, I’ll write it out…just for you!

1/4c butter
10c any kind of cereal you want.
14oz marshmallows (get the small ones, they melt faster)


Melt butter in large pot, then marshmallows, turn off the stove when the marshmallows are almost completely melted.

Mix in cereal, nuts, pretzels, candies..heck…go crazy. Just make it equal about 10 cups total.

Does it get crazy looking? Of course!

Mixa Mixa Mixa.

Put it into a 9×12 baking pan, at least 2″ high.** Spray nonstick spray or grease your hands, and smush it down. Yes smush…smoosh? I topped it with more cereal so it didn’t look all white and gooey on top. Plus, it’s still a bit sticky, so I’m helping you out!

Give them at least 15-20 minutes to set if they’re in a pan. Cut with cookie cutters, biscuit cutters, freehand…have at it. Or just make them giant balls and chow down.


**If you make them bigger, just rig it to how you want. Heck, make balls with them, go nuts. I actually line it with foil or waxed paper first.
