Dinuguan (via JoeFoodie).
Dinuguan is Filipino pork blood stew. Traditionally made with pork liver & blood (obviously) along with chilis - recipe can be found at Filipino Food Lovers.
It may sound strange, but this is a delicious dish. Spicy, rich, briny, & irony - definitely assertively flavored, but also very comforting.
I had dinuguan at Filipina’s in Warren, MI at 13 & Ryan. Filipina’s specializes in traditional Filipino food. They serve roughly 8-10 different dishes daily. Some dishes repeat, but others are unique to the day of the week.
