#56 Homemade meat sauce over Organic Sprouted wheat pappardelle (via JoeFoodie)
A large can of crushed tomatoes, an onion (diced), 2 cloves of garlic (crushed), 3 organic carrots (shredded), sea salt, cracked pepper, oregano, Italian seasoning, organic sugar, & 1 lb organic ground beef.
This sauce was made in a cast iron skillet.
Brown the beef. Once browned, add the onions & garlic. Cook for about 5 minutes. Add the rest of the ingredients. The spices are added to your taste. Red pepper flakes might also be added for some kick. This is a hearty sauce. It worked well with the pappardelle.
