Not only is the Forest Grill an excellent upscale restaurant, the Forest Grill Burger (by TheHungryDudes) is a tremendous hamburger.
Not fancy or inaccessible by any means, 80/20 ground chuck, shredded lettuce, tomato, cheddar, and a sauce similar to tomato aioli are piled inside of a fresh baked bun that is toasted on both sides.
The beef is exceedingly juicy, but the bun never becomes soggy. A perfectly executed burger.

Tonight’s Black Star wine dinner was an exciting journey through food and wine. A highlight of the night was the smoked trout salad (by TheHungryDudes). Paired with Sparkling Brut, the layering of flavors in this dish is exceptional.

Another winner from the Forest Grill in Birmingham. Ate there again this evening, this time at the bar. Moist, subtly spiced, but very flavorful. The slaw on top was sweet, creamy, & added a delightful crunch.
