#185 Jimmy Wants Rosemary’s Baby (by JoeFoodie)

Rosemary-crusted baked Italian ham, Zingerman’s handmade fresh mozzarella, tomato, olive oil & red wine vinegar on Sicilian sesame semolina bread.

A truly delicious sandwich.  Rosemary is subtly powerful, cheese is supremely creamy, tomatoes are bright & fresh, and the acidity of the red wine vinegar is a foil to the creaminess of the cheese.  The bread is hearty & crust is ridiculously crunchy.

Usually Moon Pies are dry, overly sweet, and uninteresting.  This version, however, is light, full flavored, and altogether life altering.  Instead of strange, sticky marshmallow-y filling, the filling is just like buttercream.  A truly artisanal moon pie.
