It’s time for Pizza #3 of the Pizza Storm Series!
Onion, garlic, shiitake mushrooms and thin sliced sun-dried tomatoes were sautéed in olive oil and set aside. A layer of goat cheese was spread directly onto the pizza dough. The pizza was then topped with roasted red peppers, the sautéed vegetables and crumbled bleu cheese.
The tang of the bleu cheese and sun-dried tomatoes worked very well on this pizza. I think I’m going to put a layer of goat cheese on every pizza I make from now on! It was DELICIOUS!!!
